Series: Alpha Rockstar, Part One
Genre: Adult Romance

I'm a big fan of rockstar romances, so as soon as I came across this tour, I joined up. Glad I did, too because this was an extremely short, but fun read.
The best thing about this book is the main character. Penelope is not some skinny chick like most that frequent the realm of rockstars, so she has some hang ups when Marcus the lead singer of a very popular band seems attracted to her. She has some body image issues that Marcus doesn't seem to notice and that makes her extremely cautious of him. But their first meeting is super cute and all interactions to follow are even cuter.
I think this book gives the reader just a glimpse into what goes on backstage and on tour buses. I can only imagine that real life is worse, but for this book I'm glad it wasn't because it might have overshadowed the romance a bit. So overall, I was pleased with that, though I really wished the story had been longer. It was very hard to connect with the characters at the length it was but that's okay. It's a serial and that's to be expected, right?
Overall, I liked what I read and I've already purchased parts two and three. If you're looking for a short romance with a nice sprinkle of hotness, this is a good one to try.
