Espionage never tasted so salty. Show N' Read Saturday: ARCHER

TV Station: FX
Genre: Spy Comedy/Animated/Adult
No. of Seasons: 6
My Favorite Character: Archer...Duh
Can kids watch? Hell no

Words cannot express how hilarious and brilliant show is. Six seasons in and it has not lost its touch, at least not in my opinion. How anyone could dislike an animated adult comedy about an asshole spy who is half genius, half totally incompetent is beyond me. Every episode is 30 minutes of pure genius in my book (21 without commercials).

I love every character, even though Archer is my favorite. As the world's biggest asshole, he has a dynamic with every character in the show that just leaves you dying laughing with every encounter. I especially enjoy the love/hate relationship Archer has with his mother. It is priceless. The back and forth between him and Lana (off and on love interest) is great too. So much sexual tension, three times the complications. As of the end of season 6 they are "in a relationship" and actually have a baby together. But believe me, that is no spoiler. How it all happened...well that's just something you'll have to find out for yourself. It's freaking hilarious!

I don't know anyone who hasn't at least heard of this show before. Well, if you were considering watching but were hesitant, take my word for it, DO IT! You will love every moment and be begging for more. Bring on season 7!!!

London 1932. Narrator Lady Victoria Georgiana Charlotte Eugenie, 34th in line for the throne, is flat broke. She bolted from Scotland -- and engagement to Fishface (Prince Stiegfriend) -- for London, where she has:

a) built a fire in the hearth
b) fallen for an absolutely unsuitable Irish peer
c) made a few quid housekeeping incognita, and
d) been summoned by the Queen to spy on her playboy son

When an arrogant Frenchman trying to swipe her family estate winds up dead in her bathtub, how can she clear her very long family name?

Now this book sounds FUN! I can only imagine the chaos that ensues in this book. And it involves royalty? Can't imagine that this book isn't one hilarious ride. Might have to try this one out!
